Welcome to LearnQuick! By accessing or using our online platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the LearnQuick website, courses, and any other services provided by LearnQuick Limited ("we," "us," or "our").

LearnQuick provides online tutoring and educational resources for students in the Health Science First Year (HSFY) and Early Learning in Medicine (ELM) programs at the University of Otago. The materials provided through our platform are intended solely for educational support purposes.

• Eligibility: By using LearnQuick, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental or guardian consent.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login credentials. Notify LearnQuick immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Compliance with Laws: You agree to use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: All materials, content, and resources provided by LearnQuick are owned by LearnQuick Limited or its content providers and are protected by intellectual property laws.
• Limited License: LearnQuick grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal educational purposes. Any other use is prohibited.
• Prohibited Actions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from LearnQuick without prior written permission. Unauthorised sharing, downloading, or redistributing of course materials is strictly prohibited.

5. User Conduct

• Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any conduct that may interfere with or disrupt LearnQuick services, including but not limited to hacking, data scraping, or unauthorised access.
• Respectful Interaction: LearnQuick encourages respectful communication between users and tutors. Harassment, offensive language, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of your access to the platform.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

• Payment Terms: By enrolling in any LearnQuick course or service, you agree to pay all fees as specified at the time of purchase.
• Refunds: Refunds may be available under certain conditions, as stated on our website. Please refer to our Refund Policy for specific terms. Refunds are at the discretion of LearnQuick and are generally issued only in cases of non-delivery of service or as otherwise required by law.

• Educational Support Only: LearnQuick’s resources are intended solely for educational purposes. We do not guarantee academic success, admission to specific programs, or any other outcomes as a result of using our services.
• No Liability: LearnQuick is not responsible for any damages or losses arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, or personal dissatisfaction. All services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LearnQuick, its affiliates, and its partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for our services.

9. Termination of Service

LearnQuick reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our services at our discretion, with or without notice, if you are found to be in violation of these Terms, including but not limited to the unauthorised sharing, copying, or distribution of LearnQuick content. Unauthorised sharing of course materials, resources, or any proprietary information may lead to immediate termination of your subscription and access to all LearnQuick services.

In cases of serious or repeated violations, LearnQuick may also pursue legal action to protect its intellectual property and business interests. This may include seeking damages, injunctive relief, and other remedies as permitted by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of New Zealand.
